Love gone wrong in 33 words or less

From the folks at Trifecta, a good test of your talents this week–for all you writers and non-writers alike.

“This week we’re asking for exactly 33 of your own words about love gone wrong.  But we’re asking that you not use any of the following words: love, sad, tears, wept, heart, pain.”

His eyes glittered but he was no longer behind them. The he who shared my life. And I would not stay with what had taken his place. All that glitters is not gold.
